Rocky Mountain Show Jumping will be hosting 15 Show Jumping Tournaments in 2008. We will commit ourselves to hosting quality events for our exhibitors in the future,  and welcome your input at all times!

Rocky Mountain Show Jumping is currently working on a number of improvements and upgrades to the Anderson Ranch facility where they host the tournaments.

In late 2006, the decision was made to upgrade the footing in the indoor arena. An extensive project that took a few weeks to complete will give our competitors footing that is comparable to any top indoor show venue in the world today!

In late 2007, the decision was made to build an all weather footing warm up ring to service the two outdoor jumper rings. The ring will be ready for use for the 2008 show season.

We are currently in the planning stages to add permanent stabling to the venue, and will keep you up to date as to the progress of the project.

We will keep you informed of new information as it becomes available.

Joining John and Tani on the management team is Calgarian, Caroline Jones, who brings to the Rocky Show Jumping events her invaluable experience in managing horse shows across Western Canada and the North Western States. Along with her show management skills Caroline is a renowned judge across North American and brings back from her travels valuable knowledge of other show jumping venues and current views in the competition world. Caroline has been managing shows now for over 10 years and is currently consulting with and managing 25 shows in the 2008 season including all of our events.

We are approaching the ten year anniversary of Show Jumping events being hosted at Anderson Ranch, and by the end of 2007 and into early 2008, we should surpass the $1,000,000 mark in total prize money offered.

Our events range from small local tournaments to the International Rocky Mountain Classic which returned in 2007 during the two weeks leading up to the Spruce Meadows Masters in September.

We look forward to continuing to serve our loyal exhibitors from the past and welcome new exhibitors in the future!
