RMSJ is pleased to inform all exhibitors that will be joining us in August for the Rocky Mountain Classics, that we will host an incredible evening following the competition on Day 1 (Aug 18) of the RMC I. Following competition, all competitors will be treated to an awesome meal, a ton of popcorn, and a great family movie set up right in the middle of the Grand Prix RIng. Watch from the VIP tent, or drive up in your golf cart like an old fashion drive in. A double clean round and a jump off time of 28.74 clinched the victory ahead of Ashlee Bond aboard Chivas Z. RMSJ Facebook Group: The RMSJ group just hit 3000! Click on the image RMSJ Joins the USEF: Last week we announced that we have joined the USEF, and will be Licensed to host all of the USEF Medals, and the Maclay at the Mid Summer Classic III. We will also license the Rocky Mountain Classics in August. Full release, click here. Mid Summer Classics Complete: Three weeks of record entries for the 2010 edition of the Mid Summer Classics concluded this past weekend with the Mid Summer Classic III featuring Derby Day at St. Georges Stables! 120 horses joined us for the Bronze week 1, 358 for the Silver week 2, and over 425 for the Gold week 3. RMSJ would like to extend a special "Thank You" to everyone who made the tournaments such a great success! A special thanks to Mother Nature who was extremely kind to us for all three weeks. Rocky Mountain & Gaitpost Launch Ringside: Rocky Mountain Show Jumping is pleased at this time to announce the successful launch of the RMSJ/Gaitpost Ringside Magazine. The first issue was released during the recently concluded Mid Summer Classic III with great reviews. the first issue of the bi-monthly Magazine produced by Rocky Mountain Show Jumping....We will be taking you "RingSide"
Look for some great articles, interviews, videos and more in the August Issue, being released during the Rocky Mountain Classics. Rocky Mountain Classics: With the Mid Summer Classics in our rear view mirror, focus has now turned to the three upcoming Rocky Mountain Classics. The management of Rocky Mountain Show Jumping would like to let all of our exhibitors know that all of the information pertaining to the upcoming Rocky Mountain Classics has been posted to our website. An all inclusive prize list was posted earlier in the year, however a few additions have been made, as well as a stand alone RMC III prize list has been posted. With the great efforts of exhibitors with their entries thus far this year, we will continue to reward exhibitors for getting their entries to us on time. The Rocky Mountain Classics are Gold/Platinum tournaments this year. A $100.00 discount will be awarded to each exhibitor that enters before the closing date. A late fee of $200.00 will be assessed to entries not received on time. A stabling request form is available on our website, and we ask that Trainers and Stable managers take the time to fill it out and return it to us to ensure their stalls are reserved and all of your clients are stabled together. RMC Stabling request form (Trainers & Stabler Managers....Please Complete) Rocky Mountain Jump Off: RMSJ is pleased to announce the posting of Six New segments in the Rocky Mountain Jump Off, a mini TV Series aired weekly on Shaw Direct. The management of RMSJ is dedicated to the further development of the sport in many ways. . The Rocky Mountain Jump Off is a weekly series that began airing five months ago, and will continue throughout the summer months here at Anderson Ranch. Each episode is about a 2 1/2 minute clip on a wide range of topics, and will air each week and run about 60 times each week. The purpose of the series is to provide continuing education to the public and increase the awareness of our great sport. It is our hope with this series to entice even more of Canada's youth to get involved with the sport and thereby develop yet another generation of riders for our country. Check our website HERE on our video pages from time to time for the updated links to each episode. We have shot 12 episodes thusfar.
