Week two of the 2009 Bow Valley Classics finished just three days ago. RMSJ is pleased to announce yet another record breaking week for entries finally breaking the 400 entries threshold. Mother Nature was very cooperative last week, and we were pleased to see so many of you out enjoying the competition while staying dry. Again, we the team here at RMSJ wish to thank everyone for their excitement and words of support for our efforts over the past year to significantly improve our facility to the standards that you have come to expect from us over the years. Yesterday, the day after completion of the tournament, the graders moved in to begin moving gravel and preparing for the completion of paving around the barns as well as inside the two others that weren't completed prior to Bow Valley due to the weather. By our next tournaments just five and a half weeks away, we will have completed this project, and able to house 288 horses in comfort on that side of the property. We will also be working on a permanent was rack facility by the new stalls to help everyone with that care aspect of their horses as well. We are also working on a communications and judges tower as well as a special old style diner to help with the demand for food while on the grounds. As you know, our team's love of the sport comes before anything, and we are glad that we are making you, our customers, happy. Again, please note that none of the things that we are doing at the ranch would be possible without all of your support. It was great to see the level of competition this week for all of the divisions at the tournament, and would like to congratulate all of the champions in every division, and the following list of competitors who took home top spot in some of the feature events:

(see resignation letter) We would like to thank all of you who sent us emails in support of our difficult decision. We were involved with the association for many years, and left feeling that we contributed greatly to the growth and improvements in the association over the past number of years. We have confidence that the remaining board members will put together a great team to keep the ASJA ticking smoothly into the future. They have asked us to remind people who occasionally send us emails inquiring about points and such to redirect them to the new ASJA website which is albertashowjumping.com. Located there are the links to the point's standings, and email addresses to contact someone if there are any questions.
