Bow Valley Classic I Complete:

The first of two Bow Valley Classics wrapped up yesterday under clear sunny skies. With fantastic weather all week, we were pleased that over 380 horses joined us for the first of two weeks.

Congratulations to all of the winners throughout the week, but especially to Bri Etcheverry with her mount Capitan who claimed her first Grand Prix victory in the Cymric Brae Grand Prix.

With 60 more horses joining us in the Grand Prix Ring for the upcoming week, we are sorry to say that we are not accepting any last minute entries, as we have no more stabling available. The good news is that we have commenced with our plans for facility expansion, so that our stabling issues won't be problematic in years to come.

Rocky Mountain Show Jumping Leading Open Rider 2008 Award:

We are very pleased at this time to announce a prestigious new award for the leading Open Rider at the 2008 tournaments here at RMSJ.

RMSJ has teamed up with McLean Golf of Calgary, and will be awarding a brand new luxury golf cart to the rider who accumulates the most points throughout the 2008 season at the major RMSJ tournaments. We felt that the efforts of the Open riders who attend our tournaments should be rewarded, and are pleased to be offering this valuable prize as a rider bonus.

The Thursday and Saturday events at the two Bow Valley Classics in May, as well as the Rocky Mountain Classics in August will serve as the points accumulators for the RMSJ and McLean Golf Leading Open Rider Award.

Three For Three: Margie Engle Captures Third Consecutive Victory with Hidden Creek's Pamina L at Kentucky Spring Classic - May 18 - Margie Engle of Wellington, FL, led her third victory gallop in two weeks at the Kentucky Spring Classic this afternoon. She piloted Hidden Creek's Pamina L to another incredible finish in the $55,000 Mary Rena Murphy Grand Prix CSI 3*, topping a field of 36 entries for the win: COMPLETE STORY

The ASJA will be hosting a summer Party & Fundraiser on Monday June 30th. Golf Tournament, Dinner, Dancing, Silent Auction...are just a few of the items on the agenda, but mostly, just a ton of fun. The ASJA will update you with details shortly!
