Rocky Mountain Classic Updated Schedule & Stabling Chart: Rocky Mountain Show Jumping is pleased to announce that the first of two weeks of jumping is set to get underway on Wednesday. The updated schedule and Stabling chart have been posted to our website. The feature event for week one will be the $50,000 Paramount Resources Grand Prix to be held on Sunday the 26th at 3:00pm. We will be handing out VIP tent passes to all exhibitors to invite them to join the sponsors in the tent to view the Grand Prix. After a four year break from the Western Canadian Show Jumping Tour, John & Tani Anderson's flagship event "The Rocky Mountain Classic" returns in 2007. With over $175,000 in Prize Money, and whether or not you are a Grand Prix rider, we hope to see you at the Rocky Mountain Classics and hope that you enjoy yourselves for the return of these events to the Alberta Show Jumping Circuit. Visit here for the information pertaining to the Rocky Mountain Classics Alberta brings home the Silver Medal at the North American Young Riders: Congratulation goes out to Alberta for their result at the North American Young Riders Championships held earlier this month at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, Virginia. With only a three member team consisting of Chris Surbey, Jaclyn Duff, and Hayley Alfonso, the were able to capture the Silver Medal in the Team Show Jumping competition. If you see any of these riders in the near future, make sure you congratulate them on their result. For detailed information on the NAYRC, click here! $30,000.00 1.10m & 1.20m Junior/Amateur Championships: A reminder to all Junior and Amateur competitors! **Standings after first two qualifying events** Wildwood Equestrian Park will be sponsoring the $10,000.00 to the 1.10m championship series, Blue Valley Farms will be sponsoring the $20,000.00 1.20m championship series. The Horse/Rider combination with the highest # of points in the Wildwood Equestrian Park Series will be crowned the champion of this series, and along with a beautiful cooler, will be presented with a custom made CWD bridle, while the Horse/Rider combination with the highest # of points in the Blue Valley Farms Series will be crowned the champion of this series, and along with a beautiful cooler, will be presented with a custom made CWD saddle.
