January 20th "Open Schooling Day's":

At this time, we would like to announce an extension of the first Open Schooling Day this Saturday at Anderson Ranch. We have had numerous requests from various stables and individuals to attend this Saturday.

With so many registered, and most of our horses gone south for the California circuit, we hav decided to offer schooling on Friday evening and Sunday morning as well. By opening up these days, we will not have to jam pack everything into one day.

The Saturday January 20th Schooling day (now weekend) will be run as follows:

• A full jumper course designed by Peter Holmes will be set utilizing the entire arena. (See Course)
• The course will be set at 1.00m with cups in place to go up to 1.40m.
• Jump crew will be in the ring to help with efficiency. (to help raise & lower)
• Trainers can book the ring for one hour if they have between 5 & 8 horses.
• All trainer groups will have priority over individuals.
• Individuals will follow with ½ an hour per horse ring time for their use.

The cost will be $30 per horse. If needed, a stall can be used for an additional $10.

If you have already registered, you know your time slot. If you wish to participate, please follow the link to book times! SCHOOLING_TIMES (Put Schooling in the Subject)

Winter Training Series I:

With the first of four Winter Training Series set to commence on February 2nd, the management of Rocky Mountain Show Jumping would like to thank all of you who have already sent your entries. We have received thirty entries thusfar. Receiving entries ontime, makes the job for the office staff much easier.

We thought thet we would offer a little incentive for being ontime for the first tournament of the year. All of those entries received before the closing date will earn a place in a draw. On entries closing date, we will draw from everyone who was ontime, and the winner of the draw will be presented with two tickets to see the Calgary Flames play the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday February 2nd. The seats are in the Fairmont Platinum Club of the Pengrowth Saddledome.

Thanks again for being ontime!

Opinion Polls:

We have added a new section to our website.

Our sport, not unlike others, is filled with many people that have differing opinions on a wide variety of topics. We thought it would be interesting to post some of these topics on an section of our website that contained various topics where people could post their opinion.

If you have something you would like to see added to this page, just send us a quick note and we will do our best to post an opinion poll for that topic.
